Spring Sports Registration Now Open
Be a part of the fun! Registration is now open for Spring Sports at Hill-Murray! Whether you are passionate about baseball, softball, tennis, golf, lacrosse, or track and field, we have something each student can enjoy. Sports at Hill-Murray help students create lasting friendships, foster teamwork, and build confidence, all while staying active and having fun in the process. 
Summer Sports Camps Registration will be open by Friday, February 9th using the same link above. If you have a student interested in a summer sports camp who is not a current Hill-Murray student, please click here for special registration instructions.
Middle School Boys Lacrosse
Attention middle schoolers, siblings, and friends of future Pioneers! Are you a lacrosse player, or have you ever been interested in learning how to play lacrosse? The new Pioneers Lacrosse Association is gearing up for its first spring season of boys’ lacrosse, and we want you to join us!
This program is designed to give students who will be in grades 6-8 at Hill-Murray next school year an opportunity to play lacrosse with school friends and future Pio LAX teammates. If you would like to practice and play lacrosse games against other teams in the area, please register using the provided link. All students are welcome, including incoming students from other schools who will be Pioneers in the 2024-25 school year.

Adoration in the Hill-Murray Chapel: Friday, February 23rd
Hill-Murray parents are invited to participate in the spiritual practice of Adoration in the Hill-Murray Chapel on Friday, February 23rd anytime between 8:15 AM – 2:15 PM. This is a wonderful way to enhance your Lenten spiritual journey. Adoration refers to the time when the Blessed Sacrament (the consecrated host) is placed on the altar and the faithful spend time with Jesus in the Chapel in quiet prayer and reflection. ACT Prep Course
Join Hill-Murray’s 2024 ACT Prep course designed specifically for Juniors seeking additional coaching and support. The second cohort meets Monday, February 12th and Monday, February 26th in preparation for the Saturday, April 13th test. Please click here for more information and to register.

Senior All-Night Party: Join the Committee!
Planning for the Senior All-Night Party is underway! Melissa Hauser and Chris Reeves have taken on the role of co-chairs for the event. We have many returning committee chairs and volunteers, but we could use more. You do not need to be a senior parent to join in the planning. This would be a great way for junior parents (or parents of any age student) to join this year to be ready to plan when you have a senior. If you are interested in joining the committee, please join us for our first planning meeting:

National Honor Society Induction Ceremony
National Honor Society induction for the class of 2025 will be held Monday, February 26th at 6:00 PM in the auditorium.
Track & Field
There will be a student interest meeting for the upcoming track and field season for both past and prospective athletes on Wednesday, February 28th at 2:45 PM in the Auditorium.
The track and field parent/player meeting will be held Sunday, March 3rd at 4:00 PM in the Cafeteria.

New Middle School Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club
Our new Young Innovators Club will focus on capturing our middle school students’ spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. Students will look at real-world problems and develop innovative ideas. Opportunities and resources to develop these ideas will be provided, and students will develop a “pitch” for their idea. These activities will culminate in an entrepreneurial “Shark Tank” showcase in April. The club will meet Wednesdays after school from 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM. Interested students should come to the informational meeting on Wednesday, January 31st right after school in room 120. Contact Kelly Donnelly at kdonnelly@hill-murray.org for more information.

Middle School Week
We will celebrate Middle School Week March 4-8th. Look for fun events throughout the week including a Middle School Party on Monday, March 4th from 2:45 PM – 5:00 PM. Students in grades 6-8 are invited to hang out with their classmates, play games including using the VR room, and enjoy pizza and drinks.

The Living Stations of the Cross – Good Friday
Driver’s Education Course
(for students 14+)
This 30-hour program will be conducted by a certified instructor from the A+ Driving School and will fulfill the state driver’s education requirement. The course will address the “how to’s” and “why’s” of safe driving. The format of the class will be lecture and active discussion. After completion of the program, students will be able to set up and participate in behind-the-wheel sessions to meet the six hour state requirement. Classes will meet at Hill-Murray. All registration can be done through A+ Dirving School. Click here to register. Need to miss a few classes? No problem – make-up classes will be provided.
