Welcome to the Hill-Murray Pioneer Boys Soccer Page. Our program is built off of the traditions and reputation of those Pioneers who came before us. We strive to create a team first culture while developing players individual skills. Most importantly, we are committed to developing our players as successful citizens who understand the importance of fair play, sportsmanship, academics, leadership and commitment.

Boys Soccer Apparel

We have the boys soccer apparel site open for players and families. Items ordered will be delivered to your house in 3-4 weeks.  You will find sweatshirts, jackets, hats, etc on the website for players and fans to wear.  Players are not required to purchase items from this site, but players and families often enjoy wearing H-M soccer gear. This site will close on July 31!


Fall Sports Registration
Registration for high school, and middle school soccer is now open!!  Registration will close on Friday, August 11th.  Please CLICK HERE to register.  If you have trouble registering, please contact John Pohl.

Fall Sports Kickoff Meeting – Parents and Players strongly encouraged to attend
Hill-Murray will host a fall sports kickoff meeting on Tuesday, August 8th at 7:00pm in the Hill-Murray Auditorium.  There will be a large group meeting at 7:00pm, and a Boys Soccer meeting at 7:45pm.  We hope to see you there.

Preseason Schedule (Tryouts):

Players interested in participating in the Pioneer High School Soccer Program will have preseason sessions (tryouts) to determine an appropriate team for all players.  NO PLAYERS WILL BE CUT from participation in boys soccer.  Players should attend all preseason sessions, with the exception of 9th graders who are expected to participate in the 9th grade retreat on Monday, August 14.  9th grade players can join us for the afternoon session when they return after the retreat.

Monday, August 14 – 8:00 – 10:00 am and 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Tuesday, August 15 – 8:00 – 10:00 am and 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Wednesday August – 16 8:00 – 10:00 am and Intersquad Scimmages 3:00 – 6:00 pm (Scrimmage teams will be announced on Wednesday Morning)

Thursday, August 17 – 8:00 – 10:00 am and Hidden Pines Retreat 3:00 -7:00 pm- all players in the high school program are expected to attend the event at Hidden Pines.  We will depart H-M at 3:00 pm by bus and return by 7:00 pm.  Players will be fed a pizza dinner.

Friday, August 18 – 8:00 – 10:00 am and 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Friday, August 18 – Program BBQ 5:00 – 6:30 pm on the H-M Plaza

Saturday, August 19 – Benilde Scrimmages 9:30 am – 12:00 pm (Benilde Scrimmage travel roster will be announced on Thursday, August 17)

Monday, August 20 – 8:00 – 10:00 am and 3:00 – 5:00 pm Player meetings with the coaching staff about team placement

High School Player/Family BBQ

ALL players and families in the high school program are expected to join us for our annual BBQ on Friday, August 18 from 5:00 – 6:30  pm on the Plaza outside the Hill-Murray stadium.  Hamburgers, hot dogs, fruit, salads, desserts and beverages will be provided.  After the meal we will have a short meeting to discuss details of the 2023 season.

Middle School (Jr. Pioneers)

We will have a 6th grade boys team and a 7th/8th grade boys team for our middle school players.  These two teams will practice on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:30 pm on the Lower Grass Field. Practices will begin in early September (after school begins) The teams will play in the CAA League against other catholic schools in the east metro.  The schedule for the Jr. Pioneers will be available in September.  Registration for the Jr. Pioneer teams can be found on the Hill-Murray website and the cost will be $225.
