-On Tuesday, March 5th, 7:00 PM -8:30 PM, in the HM Teachers Lounge, there will be an informational meeting to learn about the Hill Murray Fishing Team. The Fishing Team provides a fun way to learn more about fishing and will help you to catch more fish.  There are opportunities to ice fish with the team in the winter months and there are many opportunities in the spring and summer months to fish as well.  You do not need a boat to join the fishing team. For students involved in other sports, the Fishing Team season generally doesn’t interfere with any other sports as it typically gets started in late spring and ends before the first practice of the fall sports season.  Summer baseball may be the one exception. The fishing team is open to grades 8-12.  Please plan on attending the informational meeting to learn more details about the fishing team.  Parents and current fishing team members are encouraged to attend as well.  Enter the school through the main front doors. Once again, the date is Tuesday, March 5th, 7:00-8:30 PM in the Teachers Lounge.

-Good Morning Pioneers! My name is Luci L. and I am an eighth grader here at Hill Murray. I wanted to share with you how much I love being a student here at Hill. Being a new student this year, and going to many other schools in the past, I have had a lot of experience with other learning environments. But, Hill Murray has been by far the best. I love that God is present with me the entire day and I can feel the presence of faith and Joy within the school. I also love how amazing all of my classmates are, and how they have all welcomed me. Finally, I am thankful for all of the relationships I have made with all of my teachers. I am grateful to be a middle schooler here and I wish you all a happy middle school week.

-If you’ve signed up for boy’s tennis OR are interested in signing up, please attend an informational meeting at 3 pm on Wednesday. The meeting will take place in the cafeteria. During Middle School Week, we are raising money for the Tubman Center. It is a shelter for families experiencing struggles, violence, and addictions!
Remember, to bring Dollar Bills and Pennies to lunch and place them in your grade-level containers–they count positive. Any Silver coin you bring (quarters, nickels, and dimes) should be placed in another grade level’s containers–they count negative….the grade with the highest total at the end of the week will win an Ice Cream Social.
So far: 6th Grade = +7.987th Grade = -1.358th Grade = -1.25
Total Raised: $10.58, but I think we can do more than that today and the rest of the week!! Middle school let’s goooooooooo and bring in that money!
