-Father in heaven, I stand before You today in Your omnipotent presence to ask that You grant me strength. I want You to give me the strength to power through all of the tasks today — whether little or big. It is by Your will that I live oh Lord. And I know it is also by Your will I will not go weak today. I will not go lazy nor will I fail to do all things set before me because You strengthen me. Thank You for Your everlasting presence Lord and in Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

-Today you will notice that we do not serve meat in the cafe. Not eating meat on Fridays during Lent is a long standing Catholic tradition and it’s meant to call special attention to the season of Lent. If you or your family does not follow this practice you are welcome to bring your own lunch, but just know that you will not see meat items served by FLIK on Fridays during Lent.

The pop-up will take place in the commons before and after school as well as during all lunches. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me via email. Hope to see you there!

-For those of you interested in trying out for Boys Golf this Spring, we have our parent meeting this Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Faculty Lounge. Please reach out to Mr. Goetzke or Mr. Schaan if you have questions, conflicts, or concerns.

-Hey Middle Schoolers, This is Andrew J and Zander R, and we are here to remind you to bring in Money next week for our Middle School Penny Wars Fundraiser. We are raising money for the Tubman Shelter which is right next to Hill-Murray. They offer help for those experiencing homelessness, violence, or addictions. At Lunch, there will be three containers, one for each grade. Dollar bills and pennies count positive for your class, and silver (dimes, nickels, and quarters) would count negative—so you will want to put those in another class’s container. The grade with the highest total at the end of the week will get an Ice Cream Social to celebrate all their awesome fundraising for Tubman! So please bring in money for our Middle School fundraiser next week!!

-Attention Middle Schoolers: If you would like to participate in Karaoke during Middle School Week, complete the Google Form in your email.

-On Tuesday, March 5th, 7:00 PM -8:30 PM, in the HM Teachers Lounge, there will be an informational meeting to learn about the Hill Murray Fishing Team.
The Fishing Team provides a fun way to learn more about fishing and will help you to catch more fish.  There are opportunities to ice fish with the team in the winter months and there are many opportunities in the spring and summer months to fish as well.  You do not need a boat to join the fishing team. For students involved in other sports, the Fishing Team season generally doesn’t interfere with any other sports as it typically gets started in late spring and ends before the first practice of the fall sports season.  Summer baseball may be the one exception. The fishing team is open to grades 8-12.  Please plan on attending the informational meeting to learn more details about the fishing team.  Parents and current fishing team members are encouraged to attend as well.  Enter the school through the main front doors. Once again, the date is Tuesday, March 5th, 7:00-8:30 PM in the Teachers Lounge.

-Attention all HM Students: HOSA is hosting our 3rd guest speaker of the year this Friday during WIN A & B in the Auditorium. Dr. Rebecca Ameduri is a pediatric cardiologist at Rochester Mayo. She will be sharing about her journey to becoming a pediatric cardiologist and about her experience at Mayo. All interested students are encouraged to attend.

-Due to an event being held in the Commons and Cafeteria, no students are allowed in the cafeteria and commons after school today.  Thank you.
