Dear Hill-Murray Community,
We stand at the threshold of an extraordinary chapter in the history of Hill-Murray. With great excitement, we introduce to you our most ambitious endeavor yet: Believe. Belong. Be Bold. A Comprehensive Campaign for Hill-Murray. This initiative aims to secure $40 million, vital for various areas including tuition assistance, the annual fund, legacy gifts, and essential capital improvements.
As we embark on this journey, we are guided by a shared commitment to our students and their experience at Hill-Murray. Our vision for this campaign is to prioritize the well-being of our students in all dimensions – intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical.
At the forefront of our campaign is the creation of spaces where our students can foster a sense of community. In recent years, the challenge of adequate space for student gatherings, especially during lunch hours, has become increasingly apparent.
Our aim for Capital Improvements is clear: to raise $7.5 million by June 2024. This will fund the opening of a new Student Union Center and the expansion of our Pioneer Institute for Health and Wellness before the start of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Achieving this goal will enhance the Hill-Murray experience for every student, providing ample room for collaborative learning, innovative academic experiences, and space for students to gather and socialize.
Here is how you can personally make a difference:
The first step is to schedule an in-person “campus campaign tour” with Hill-Murray Foundation Executive Director, Chris Zupfer, and our Advancement Team. Everyone is welcome! During this tour, you will witness firsthand the exciting developments that we have in store. Rest assured, this will be an informational session; no donation requests will be made at this time. It is our goal to ensure that everyone in our community is educated about what lies ahead for the Pioneers of today and tomorrow.
I would also like to invite you to join us on April 27th for our 2024 Pioneer Premier Auction as we Roll out the Red Carpet for an Award-Worthy Evening! This is a really fun event that includes dinner, drinks, live music, and both silent and live auctions. Proceeds contribute to the continued excellence of Hill-Murray School. Tickets are still available – be sure to get yours soon!
