Peer Minister Jocelyn D will read this prayer on Friday, Oct 31
Loving God, thank You for this new day and for the gift of our school community. As we celebrate Halloween, help us to remember that even on a day filled with fun and excitement, Your light and love are always with us. Remind us that real courage shows up in the way we treat others with kindness, patience, and respect. Help us to choose compassion over judgment and to bring a smile to someone who needs it today. Let our laughter and energy make this day brighter for everyone around us. Bless our teachers who guide us, our friends who support us, and those who may be feeling left out or unseen. Keep our school filled with safety, joy, and the warmth of Your love.
Amen.
Reminder that auditions for the One Act Play competition are next Monday. The Sign up for an audition slot is on the theatre Callboard across from the choir room.
HEY PIONEERS!
Next Monday and Tuesday, November 3rd and 4th, we’ll be holding a Flash 2-Day Food Drive to help stock a food shelf at one of our CSL partner elementary schools, North Metro Flex Academy in North St. Paul.
This school community relies heavily on SNAP benefits, which have recently been put on hold, and they need our support more than ever. SNAP–Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program helps Minnesotans with lower incomes get the food they need for nutritious and well-balanced meals. Let’s come together to make sure every student and their families have enough to eat! #PioneerWay
Please bring in non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, etc. There will be collection boxes located in the main entrance of the school and inside Campus Ministry!
Every item counts—let’s show how much our school community cares.
Together, we can make a big difference in just two days!
Two days. One goal. A Big impact.
Hey students, are you looking for an easy-peasy service experience? Ms. Marin needs some students to help out at our parent-teacher conference event on Friday, November 7. There are spots for the 2-4:30 shift, or the 4:30-7 PM shift. It’s so easy! You just need to meet and greet parents, and help them find classrooms and teachers. If interested, please sign up in the MAIN OFFICE. There is a sign up sheet near Mrs. Gist’s desk. This opportunity is open to students in any grade! THANK YOU for considering!!
Good Morning Pioneers – this message is for those of you that have witnessed a random act of kindness, a moment where a fellow Pioneer showed the way, or even just someone that is important in your life…. Please share your “sainted story” to Sainted at Hill-Murray. Remember, all submissions will be anonymous. Don’t wait another day to recognize someone for all the good they bring to our school and community!
Hi all,
Just another reminder, if you are not going to take an AP exam you have previously signed up for, today is the last day to let me, Mr. Goulet, Director of AP testing, know! Stop down and see me or send me an email!
Thanks and Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween, Pios! To celebrate the last day of Red Ribbon Week, we are having speaker Heather Bachuss, a Hill-Murray mom, come speak about how drug use has affected her family. We invite you all to sign up for Mrs. Gist’s WIN A&B in the auditorium to hear Mrs. Baccuss’s story.
