Health and Medical Sciences Pathway

This pathway is designed for students who are passionate about science, healthcare, and making a difference in the lives of others. This multi-year program blends rigorous coursework in biology, chemistry, anatomy, and other specialized sciences with hands-on learning experiences in fields such as biotechnology, forensics, and public health.
Beyond the classroom, students have opportunities to volunteer in health and medical settings and prepare for a meaningful Capstone project that showcases their skills and passions. With additional opportunities like professional guest speakers, career fairs, and specialized college counseling, students graduate from the pathway with not only a strong academic foundation but also practical experience, professional connections, and a clear vision for their future in health and medical careers. Hill-Murray has a strong tradition of Pioneers going into the health and medical profession.
Innovation and Design Pathway

Through our Innovation and Design Certification Pathway, students dive into a robust STEM curriculum where ideas come to life through hands-on experiences in engineering, 3D printing, fabrication, computational thinking, design, and computer programming.
Along the way, students experiment with industry-standard software and cutting-edge tools, exploring topics that spark curiosity and fuel creativity. The journey culminates in the Pioneer Passion Projects capstone, where students design, build, or research a project that showcases their innovation and vision for the future.
By earning this certification, students gain more than technical know-how, they cultivate creativity, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to tackle real-world challenges. This pathway doesn’t just prepare students for college; it prepares them to solve some of our world’s most pressing problems.
Entrepreneurship Academy Pathway

Students in this pathway earn the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting and building connections that last. Graduates of the program leave with more than knowledge – they carry confidence, practical skills, and a competitive edge that sets them apart in college admissions and the modern workforce.
Scholars Pathway

The Scholars Program is designed for students seeking learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom. Following a dream doesn’t have to wait. The Scholars Pathway is a unique opportunity for students to participate in “once in a lifetime” opportunities and pursue a dream. A personalized learning plan, which can include taking online courses while staying fully enrolled at Hill-Murray, allows students to be away from campus for extended periods of time as they follow their passion.
To participate, students submit an application that is reviewed by Hill-Murray’s Student Assistance Team. Once accepted, the student and their parents/guardians collaborate with the assigned counselor to create the personalized plan that supports the student’s goals while keeping them on track for graduation.
