Faith & Service

At Hill-Murray, we encourage students to hear and respond to the voice of God in their lives. In the rich tradition of our Catholic faith and in line with our Benedictine and Lasallian traditions and charisms (spiritual gifts), we encourage each of our students in an authentic walk of faith regardless of their background. We recognize the call of Jesus for each of us to be servant leaders and to be “good news” to the world. We fulfill this call by putting our God-given gifts to use in service to others.

Loving God, we ask Your blessing on our Hill-Murray School community
as we gather today in Your loving presence.

Send Your Spirit to help us create and nurture relationships that are healthy and holy,
to commit ourselves to welcoming all guests as Christ,
to value our educational mission,
to listen with the ear of our heart,
and to follow Jesus so that in all things, God may be glorified.

At Hill-Murray, we show respect for every person and invite all students, parents, faculty and staff to participate in meaningful prayer and service experiences. We teach discipleship skills for daily living and support each person’s relationship with Christ.

Hill-Murray students are encouraged to put their unique gifts to use in meaningful ways. As we study God’s word and the teachings of the Catholic Church, we help students grow in knowledge, understanding, and love of God.

We strive to prepare students to face real-life questions and issues, understand and integrate faith and scripture into daily life.
