Psychological and Neuropsychological Assessments
at The Nicholas Center
Provided by Julie Robinson, PhD, LP, a clinical child psychologist with specialized training in pediatric neuropsychology and over 30 years of experience.
Comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and recommendations for educational programming and other therapeutic interventions
Assessments may include formal testing of a combination of intellectual, academic, language, memory, attention/executive, personality, and emotional functions. Testing batteries are developed based on information gathered through parent and student interviews, and parent and teacher completed questionnaires. These assessments are available to Hill-Murray students, as well as to individuals who do not attend Hill-Murray.
Dr. Robinson strives to provide evaluations that help answer questions that you, as parents, have about your child, as well as questions that your child has about him/ herself. The collaborative emphasis in her assessments allows you and your child to better understand his/her challenges and strengths. The intent is to help your child develop a more adaptive way of thinking about him/herself. Assessment results will also be used to inform educational and other therapeutic interventions and provide parenting guidance, as appropriate.

Costs for services are as follows:
– Assessments: $2,200 – $2,900 (depending on the scope of testing)
– Therapy Sessions (50 minutes): $155 – $170
Services may be reimbursed by using Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
