Volleyball
Program Overview
Our coaching staff loves volleyball and coaching. We are motivated to do as well as we can and to do whatever we can to make the team successful. We will provide you with every opportunity to be as good as you want to be, to grow as an athlete and as a person. We want you to be confident in yourself and know that there is no obstacle that you cannot overcome with hard work. We want you to understand and learn the meaning of team: commitment, discipline, responsibility, and hard work.
Our goals for each athlete in the volleyball program are that she is prepared to play at a higher level, understands the game of volleyball, and has experiences that will help her in situations she will face in everyday life. Hill-Murray volleyball players are respectful, dedicated, responsible, resilient, competitive, and faithful. The Pioneer Coaching Staff wants each athlete to further develop these qualities. Athletics is a great tool for building character. Take advantage of this opportunity and try out for a volleyball team at Hill-Murray School. Hill-Murray plays in the competitive Classic Suburban Conference that includes North High, Tartan, Simley, Henry Sibley, Mahtomedi, Richfield, and South St. Paul. In 2007, our varsity finished with a second consecutive conference title and a conference record of 14-0. All our other teams also had strong seasons, and we are excited about building on the strengths of those teams in 2008 and beyond. For more information about Pioneer Volleyball, click here.
