Visit Us
The best way for you to experience our campus and, most importantly, our community, is to visit! We have several opportunities for you to learn more about Hill-Murray by spending time on campus.
Personal Tour
If you would like to schedule a personal tour or student visit, contact Kaitlin Salscheider or Denise Bates in the Admissions Office at 651-748-2406. Tours are available during school hours during 7:30-1:30 by appointment.
Prospective Student Visits
Prospective students thinking about attending Hill-Murray School are invited to spend a day at H-M to experience a full school day and see first-hand how they fit into the H-M community.
Any day that H-M is in session is available for a prospective student visit. The day begins at 7:30 am and concludes at 1:00 pm. A Hill-Murray student will accompany guests to classes, have lunch together, introduce guests to friends and staff, provide information and answer any questions they have.
At H-M, we work hard to ensure that your student's day fits his/her needs and interests. Therefore, we request 48 hour advance notice to schedule a visit so that we can prepare the best possible experience for your student.
To schedule a visit, please call the Admissions Office at 651-748-2406 or email Kaitlin Salscheider.
Please contact the Admissions Office at 651-748-2406 or ksalscheider@hill-murray.org to schedule a visit. Calls and emails must be made by parents/guardians and must be received at least 48 hours in advance of the visit. When you schedule the visit, please let the Admissions team know a few of the guest's interests and any special requests that you have.
The Admissions team will happily match you with a student in the grade that you are going into that has similar interests. If you know someone in particular that you would like to go with, that works too!
You should enter through the main front doors at 7:20 AM, where you will be greeted and brought to the Admissions Office. Your host will meet you in the Admissions Office. The day concludes at 1:00 PM. Students may be picked up in the Admissions Office at that time.
You may dress casually. Jeans are allowed. Visiting students are expected to follow our H-M student dress code of neat, clean and modest.
You need not bring a lunch. You will be provided with a lunch ticket in the morning.
The Admissions team will provide with you with a visit booklet with fun activities to do throughout the day. If you would like to bring a book with you to read, you are welcome to. Note that all cell phones are to be turned off and put away during the day. If you need to make a phone call, you may do so in the Admissions Office at any time.
