History of Hill-Murray School

For over forty years, Hill-Murray has served students of all faiths and races living in the east metro, St. Croix Valley areas, and into Wisconsin. From 1958 when Archbishop Murray Memorial High School was founded by the Benedictine Sisters and 1959 when Hill High School opened its doors, staffed by the Christian Brothers, to 1971 when they merged to form Hill-Murray School, we have embraced a vision based on the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values, in the Catholic tradition. Our commitment to fulfill the vision--the promise of Hill-Murray School--is as alive today as it was for our founders.
