Graduation Requirements
2011-2012 Course Directory
Forty-eight semester credits are required to earn a Hill-Murray High School diploma including the following:
- 8 credits in English
- 1 credit in Computer Literacy
- 2 credits in Physical Education
- 4 credits in Science
- 1 credit in Fine Arts*
- 1 credit in Health
- 4 credits in Mathematics
- 6 credits in Religious Studies
- 6 credits in Social Studies
- 15 credits in Electives
In addition, students must complete at least two service experiences, with one helping the poor or vulnerable, each year in grades 9-12 in order to graduate.
Elective courses are offered in every academic department. *The Fine Arts requirement may be met by taking any elective course in music, art, theatre, or architecture. |
