Expectations for participation in the boys basketball program are high at Hill-Murray. Players must maintain high academic and personal standings in school along with managing the high time commitment that basketball requires. Many of our players are leaders within their class, serving as peer counselors, peer ministers, members of student council and the like. Players are held to a high level of excellence both on and off the court.
 The boys basketball program offers levels of participation for grades 7-12. The coach for middle school grades 7 & 8 coach is Joe Lepsche. The freshman coach is Nick Farley. The B-squad will be coached by Marty Mudek. The Varsity Head Coach is Dick Ghizoni assisted by Vince Conway and Jesse Hendricks.
We strive to instill through basketball teamwork, commitment and sacrifice for each other to make the program better. Many players are involved in other areas of student life at Hill-Murray. This is encouraged throughout our basketball program. We hope to develop well rounded individuals who become positive members of our Hill-Murray School Community and beyond.
Practice times: Monday-Friday 2:30-4:00 or 4:30-6:00, some Saturdays are included.
